● Adega do Vulcão is a visionary project uniting the terroir of Faial and Pico islands in the Azores. Rescuing old vines planted in volcanic ash (currais), the producer works artisanally with indigenous grapes like Arinto dos Açores, Terrantez do Pico, and Verdelho. The result materializes in electric white wines, where chalk minerality and ocean breeze intersect with sharp acidity. Moving away from any winemaking makeup, these are bottles of linear texture and absolute purity, offering the true untamable essence of the islands.
