Giz is a cult boutique project in the Bairrada region, created by winemaker Luís Gomes to explore the absolute potential and mineral purity of limestone soils.

● Founded with the premise of creating Bairrada wines that challenge the world's best, the Giz project stands out for its obsession with the limestone terroir that gives it its name. From centenarian old vines surrounded by pine forests, winemaker Luís Gomes applies artisanal, low-intervention methods to extract maximum purity from Baga, Bical, and Maria Gomes grapes.
