Tinto Cão is one of the five noble red grapes of the Douro, celebrated for its extraordinary longevity and resilience. Despite its small berries and low yields, this grape produces wines of superb elegance, with firm acidity and fine tannins that ensure unique aging potential. Its aromas are delicate, fusing wild fruit notes with floral and spicy hints. It is a fundamental component in great Port wines and blended reds, providing structure, freshness, and an austere nobility that defies time.
