Catarratto is Sicily’s most important white grape variety, playing a fundamental role in defining the character of the island’s wines. This grape produces fresh and structured white wines, with aromas ranging from citrus and lemon zest to white flowers, often accompanied by a delicate herbaceous touch. On the palate, it reveals a saline minerality characteristic of the volcanic and Mediterranean terroir.
