Experts' AssessmentVinification and Ageing
Grapes are hand-harvested and subjected to gentle crushing followed by pneumatic pressing at low temperatures to prevent oxidation. After cold static decantation for 24 to 48 hours, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures between 14ºC and 18ºC. The wine is aged on fine lees with periodic bâtonnage until mid-June, followed by a bottle aging period of at least six months.
Terroir
Sourced from the Tua Valley in the Cima Corgo, with vineyards located between 150 and 550 meters in altitude. The soil is primarily composed of schist and granite, with vine ages ranging from 12 to 80 years, grown under an integrated agriculture regime.
