The winter was cold and rainy, but spring was fortunately mild and the shoots appeared at the end of April, a little earlier than usual, but without suffering any frost damage. May and June were warm, but not excessively so, with maximum temperatures reaching 29°C, allowing for the gradual and steady development of the vines. The summer months were perfect, with a significant variation in temperatures between day and night - an important factor for quality in our region - and by mid-August, with the onset of veraison, we began to suspect we were heading for a great year. The first rains of September were very beneficial and we began harvesting grapes of exceptional quality. There was no rush at all and, at a very comfortable pace, the harvest concluded on 13 October. The fermentations confirmed our expectations: this is one of the best vintages of the last decade in the Ribera del Duero.
