SyrahThe mystery name refers to a time when Syrah was not permitted in Alentejo. In 1991, we were the first ones to plant Syrah in the Alentejo, choosing rootstock from southern Rhone clones.
Dark berry and plum fruits with subtle notes of toasty oak. Spicey, earthy, complex. Elegant palate showing layers of velvety fruit supported by a firm tannic structure. Extremely well balanced with nicely integrated oak. Classic Incognito, approachable now but has the balance and structure for long term ageing
