This historical wine was produced in the year the founder’s great-grandson was born, coinciding with the year of the revolution in Portugal, and was kept secret in glass carboys and paraffin-lined chestnut barrels. It presents a topaz color with greenish hues and a floral aroma with notes of spices and evolution. On the palate, it reveals itself to be round, very soft and fresh, with a very long finish. It is an ambassador for the excellence of fortified wines from Casa Agrícola Horácio Simões.
