Fundação Eugénio de Almeida is the historical pillar of Évora’s viticulture, being the revered creator of Cartuxa wines and the legendary Pêra-Manca, one of Portugal’s greatest icons.

The wines produced at the Cartuxa Winery, a former refuge of Carthusian monks, translate the classic excellence of southern Portugal.
