Founded in 1898, Raposeira is Portugal’s most iconic and historic sparkling wine brand, mastering the traditional method tradition in the granitic cellars of Lamego.

● Inseparable from the history of sparkling wine production in Portugal, Caves da Raposeira was a pioneer in bringing the Champagne technique to the Lamego plateau. Working with indigenous Douro grapes like Malvasia Fina or Cerceal, and benefiting from the cool high-altitude microclimate, the producer achieves extraordinary levels of excellence. The bottles age for years in tunnels carved into the blue rock, acquiring an unmistakable fine mousse, vibrant acidity, and sophisticated buttery notes.
