Oseleta

Oseleta is a rare and ancestral red grape variety from Verona, rescued from extinction to provide color and structure to the region’s top blended wines, such as Amarone. Its name comes from the local dialect for ‘little bird’, reflecting the birds’ preference for its small, sweet berries. This grape produces wines of black, impenetrable color, with vigorous tannins and intense aromas of black fruits, spices, and earthy mineral notes. It is a luxury supporting variety, providing extraordinary depth and aging potential to top Veneto wines.
