Avesso is the signature grape of the Baião sub-region in Vinho Verde, distinguished by a fuller and more alcoholic profile than is typical for the region. This grape produces whites of great character and minerality, featuring captivating aromas of peach, almond, and orange blossom. With balanced acidity and a creamy texture, Avesso defies the stereotype of light wines, proving to be an excellent variety for boutique wines seeking structure, complexity, and aging potential.
