Located on the steep banks of the Douro River, Quinta de S. José is a family project led by João Brito e Cunha, celebrated for the elegance of its terroir wines.

● Nestled in the dramatic landscape of the Cima Corgo, Quinta de S. José is distinguished by its schist soils and old vine parcels touching the waters of the Douro River. Winemaker João Brito e Cunha combines his profound knowledge of the region with a minimal intervention approach in the cellar. This symbiosis gives birth to red and white wines of great freshness, with polished tannins and a remarkable fruit purity that avoids over-extraction. Quinta de S. José is the refuge of the authentic Douro, delivering bottles that balance structure, complexity, and a captivating subtlety.
