One of the Douro’s most legendary estates, Quinta da Boavista is home to monumental terraces and centenarian vines, producing wines of unparalleled luxury and prestige.
● With historical references in the first Douro demarcation (1756) and immortalized in the famous maps of the Baron of Forrester, Quinta da Boavista is a true ex-libris of the Cima Corgo. Recovered in the 2010s by the meticulous Lima & Smith project and acquired in 2020 by the renowned Kopke Group (Sogevinus), the estate embodies the pinnacle of world winemaking heritage. On its dramatic slopes, highlighting the dizzying Vinha do Oratório (whose schist walls reach almost eight meters in height) and the legendary Vinha do Ujo, the producer manages an almost unrepeatable heritage of centenarian old vines. The winemaking focuses on purity and surgical extraction precision, aging the wines in top-tier French oak barrels. The result materializes in vintages routinely achieving the highest scores from global critics. They are red wines of dizzying aromatic opulence, aristocratic structure, absolutely silky tannins, and extraordinary aging potential. Quinta da Boavista doesn't just make wine; it bottles centuries of Douro history destined for the world's most demanding collectors.Sort
