Based in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, his project focuses on organic and biodynamic farming, seeking the barest and most transparent expression of the terroir. Famous for brilliant essays like the 'Trans Douro Express' line (exploring the Douro's three sub-regions) and the focused 'Eremitas' whites, his winemaking rejects cellar makeup.
