Herdade do Mouchão is the guardian of great traditional Alentejo wines, being the iconic producer that elevated the Alicante Bouschet grape to legendary status.

● With a heritage dating back to the 19th century, Herdade do Mouchão is the personification of untouchable Alentejo classicism. Led by the Reynolds family, the estate maintains ancestral practices almost intact: manual harvesting, fermentation in open lagares with foot treading, and prolonged aging in old mahogany and oak vats. The producer is the historic birthplace of the Alicante Bouschet grape in Portugal. Its red wines, namely the mythical 'Mouchão', are known for their impenetrable color, aromatic rusticity of eucalyptus and spices, and an aging potential that transcends generations.
