Tinta Amarela
Tinta Amarela, widely known in Alentejo as Trincadeira, is one of Portugal’s most noble and challenging red grape varieties. In the Douro, it plays a fundamental role in the structure of Port wines and blended reds, providing intense aromas of wild black fruits, chocolate, and refreshingly characteristic herbaceous notes. On the palate, it stands out for its firm tannins and balanced acidity, offering excellent aging potential. It is a variety that demands vineyard mastery but rewards with wines of superb complexity and elegance.
