Experts' AssessmentAbout the Producer Monte da Raposinha
Situated on the shores of the Montargil dam, Monte da Raposinha is a family project uniting Alentejo tradition with the creation of excellent, fresh wines. ● Born from the Rosário family's passion, Monte da Raposinha became a winemaking oasis in northern Alentejo. Benefiting from a microclimate tempered by the proximity of water, its vineyards yield grapes with perfect maturation yet full of freshness. With enological support from João Brito e Cunha and, more recently, Susana Esteban, the producer presents wines that avoid the region's excessively hot profile. The reds are polished, aromatic, and seductive, while the whites reveal vibrant acidity, making them ideal for lovers of refined Alentejo classics.
