Loureiro

Loureiro is the most fragrant and iconic white grape variety of the Lima Valley in the Vinho Verde region. Its name derives from the seductive laurel (bay leaf) aroma that characterizes its wines, accompanied by notes of orange blossom, acacia, and fresh citrus. On the palate, Loureiro stands out for its vibrant acidity and refreshing minerality, producing elegant, light, and very food-friendly whites. It is one of the Portuguese varieties with the greatest capacity for aromatic evolution, representing the peak of Atlantic freshness in a premium white wine.
