Alicante Bouschet

Alicante Bouschet is one of the rare “teinturier” grapes, featuring dark flesh that produces wines of deep, opaque color. Although of French origin, it found its ideal terroir in Alentejo, becoming a regional icon. Its wines are imposing, with a powerful tannic structure and intense aromas of black fruits, smoke, and spices. It is a variety with enormous aging potential, evolving into wines of unique complexity and nobility over the years.
