Malhadinha White reveals great intensity and aromatic complexity with white pulp fruits and yellow flowers involved by the oak barrel notes. On the palate is quite balanced with good volume but fresh and elegant. Very persistent.
The edition of Monte da Peceguina Red shows a vibrant dark red color almost opaque. Fresh nose fresh with red fruits and some black fruits stand out on a spicy and slightly floral background. Mound of bunches with manual first choice of grapes. Total destemming with slight crushing after second selection of the grapes on the table of choice. Slight direct pressing followed by prolonged fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Open ruby colored wine. Fragrance of fresh red fruit. In the mouth, this wine is soft and well-balanced, gluttonous and juicy touch without loosing elegance and complexity. Long and persistent final.
It is rich in lime and stone fruit notes, presenting mineral and light kerosene. In the tasting it proves to be very rich, with crisp acidity. Brioche notes, orange blossom, volume and long finish and mineral texture.
With a profile of the old world, proves to be elegant and superb texture, with delicate fruit and minerality. On the nose presents notes of cherry blossom, blueberries and white chocolate. In the tasting, it is full of texture, dry, fresh, mineral, with intense cherry and notes of ripe peach.

In tasting, you can feel all aromatic descriptive, with attack and long volume, spicy and increasing tannins. Mouchão is a full, deep coloured wine with its concentration and spiciness of the Alicante Bouschet combined with the elegance of the Trincadeira and a tannic structure which enables the development in bottle for which it is so well known.
Dom Rafael Tinto is sourced from old Aragonêz, Trincadeira, Castelão and Alicante Bouschet vines on the Mouchão Estate. Handpicked grapes are foot trodden and fermented in open lagares — the same winemaking methods used for over a century. This age-old blend is allowed to mature in oak ‘tonels’ and barriques until bottled, 12 months from harvest.
Wine with good structure, full-bodied but elegant. Grape tannins perfectly integrated with the French oak barrel. The red fruits are very present and integrated with the notes of the barrel.
The authenticity of the varieties is revealed, with a lively, very present, clear and authentic fruit. The sensations conveyed throughout the tasting are in constant evolution... A wine to be discovered!
