Boavista Touriga Nacional
The only Quinta da Boavista wine to be aged in larger barrels of 500 litres. Colour: deep violet with marked intensity. Nose: Initial spicier notes: allspice, cloves and cardamom, then blueberries and the wine’s floral side in the form of cloves and violets. Palate: Medium-bodied, well-balanced acidity, with tannins that are more silky, voluptuous and sweet, with a long, persistent finish, but light aftertaste. Pronouncedly aromatic in the mouth with hints of fresh redcurrants and liquorice. Very seductive. Each year, the winemaking team will bottle one mono-varietal wine – not necessarily Touriga Nacional - that has shown particularly well in the vintage.

Boavista Reserva
Dark Ruby with good intensity. Very complex, revealing itself gradually in a number of different layers. Nose: With a hint of lilies, floral notes which add elegance to the whole and are a perfect foil for the wine’s fruitier (plum, cranberry jelly) and sweet-and-sour (liquorice) undertones. Last to appear are the spices: cloves, black pepper and chocolate. Palate: Medium-bodied, elegant with delicate tannins that are present throughout. Nicely balanced acidity. An explosion of aromas reminiscent of red berry fruit (cranberry, redcurrant) giving this wine a certain "ethereal" feel. Long, persistent finish.

Quinta da Boavista - Vinha do Oratório
Deep Ruby with good intensity. Nose: Powerful aroma, hot, intense, full of character showing youth. Shrubs and forest give way to sweet red fruit, which explodes in the glass time and again, with seemingly increasing intensity and exuberance. Secondary notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Palate: Voluptuous, with consistency and robust tannins that are presente but never overpower the extraordinary balance among red berry fruit, acidity and structure. Very long finish. In short: harmonious.

Quinta da Boavista - Vinha do Ujo
Deep, intense Ruby. Good intensity and very appealing. This wine, from the Ujo plot, shows a fruitier side on the nose, with red and black fruits, and spices dominating, but with a herbaciousness that lends freshness to the whole. Nose: quite compact  and austere. Classic style. Palate: A wine with personality and presence. Tannins wrapped in fruit, with a strong structure, though with freshness always present. Spicy finish.. Still very young and will need time in bottle to mature. Wine with perfect balance and charm.
