The Quinta de Cidrô Sauvignon Blanc was one of the first experiments we carried out at the Quinta and which rapidly grew to become our most popular white wine. This Sauvignon Blanc unites the best of the two worlds: on one side the Douro’s power and concentration while on the other side, the elegance and character of this famous French variety. The wine reveals itself intense and distinctive, with typical green notes combined with white fruit and passion fruit. Flavourful, with a smooth and rich middle palate and terminates with a lively and fresh acidity. The Quinta de Cidrô Sauvignon Blanc has shown to be a best seller in the Portuguese market. Its fresh character makes it popular amongst white wine lovers, either for a fish and seafood dinner, or for an aperitif.
