The Barbera grapes from the Barolo and Barbaresco regions give to our classic Barbera a uniquely great structure, full body, complexity, smooth character, ripe fruit, spices and a very long life.
A classic style Barolo. Excellent structure, harmony, elegance. Soft tannins and balanced fruit. Approachable, but with a very long ageing potential. Barolo is such a great wine which should not be described as a “basic” or “regular” Barolo, simply because it does not have any additional indication on the label other than the word “Barolo”.
Typical of Northwest Italy, flavored with the herb Cinchona calisaypa (from which its name “chinato” derives) and other spices.
Great structure, concentration, ripe fruit, soft tannins, tobacco. Immediate, but with a very long life. Produced in small quantities.
Fresh, clean and spicy aromas. Salty, with ripe fruit and rich, complex flavor. Great ageing potential.
“L’Altro” is the Italian version for “the other”. We named this wine “L’Altro” in order to distinguish it from our first Chardonnay ever produced: Piodilei. Very fresh and fruity, with great minerality and a slight of vanilla note.
The sources of the grapes, enriched by a small proportion of Nebbiolo from the Barbaresco and Barolo region, provide body, structure and a long ageing potential. The fruit is intense and ripe but at the same time fresh with very sweet tannins. Nice fragrancy and longevity.
Spicy, creamy and intense with a smooth but long aftertaste. Sweet, warm and ripe fruit, still very fresh with an elegant hint of oak. Long life. Produced in very small quantity.
