Quinta do Poeira is located in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name. Its exposure to the North is a key aspect to the style of wines we seek to make. Temperatures in the region are always very high in summer, and on a north-facing slope the ripening of the grapes is always slower, preserving better the aromas, flavors and acidity. This white Poeira is the ultimate example of the diversity of the Douro.
