Porto Calém Vintage 1982 result of an exceptional and unique crop produced from the best grapes that developed under ideal conditions (usually referred to as being years "classic"). After two years in oak barrels, the Vintage are bottled in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the banks of the River Douro. Improving for decades in the bottle, it should be stored horizontally in a cool, dark place. The true nature of port wine will evolve over time. Generally we recommend that you drunk with a minimum of eight years, although they can be enjoyed with 50 years or more. When Vintages Ports are young, they are intense, with an impressive retinta color, accompanied by fruit aromas of the forest (especially blackberries and black cherries), with firm tannins and a balanced structure. With aging, become less intense but more elegant and soft complex in color, flavor and body.
